CUSTOM VINTAGE WASHED T-SHIRTS MANUFACTURER
Garment-dyed, enzyme-washed t-shirts with a soft, broken-in hand-feel, manufactured in-house with a low minimum order of 50 pieces per style.
Custom Vintage Washed T-Shirts Manufacturing
Star Faith International manufactures vintage washed t-shirts for labels that want a naturally faded, lived-in look and a softer hand-feel than a standard off-the-roll cotton tee. Cutting, sewing, and the enzyme or pigment wash stage all happen inside our own facility, so colour fade and softness stay consistent from batch to batch.
A vintage finish comes from garment washing after construction rather than dyeing the fabric before cutting. Enzyme or pigment wash processes break down surface fibres and lift colour unevenly, giving each tee a slightly muted, worn tone and a softer drape than an unwashed garment.
Why Brands Choose Our Vintage Washed T-Shirts
- Genuine garment-wash softness — enzyme washing breaks in the fabric hand-feel, rather than a chemical softener coating.
- Controlled colour fade — we calibrate wash time and pigment concentration so batches land within an approved shade range.
- Heavyweight base fabric — 180-220 GSM cotton holds shape through the wash cycle without excessive shrinkage.
- Low minimum order — 50 pieces per design and colourway, workable for capsule and seasonal drops.
- Print and embroidery after wash — graphics are applied post-wash so they sit naturally on the faded base rather than looking freshly printed.
Fabric, Fit, and Customization Options
Vintage washed tees are built on 180-220 GSM ringspun cotton, pre-shrunk before the wash stage to control finished measurements. We offer regular and boxy fits, with garment-dye or pigment-dye wash processes depending on the depth of fade you want.
Common add-ons include distressing, DTG or screen-printed graphics applied post-wash, and rib-knit or raw-cut hems. Private label packaging with woven neck labels and polybags can be added without changing the standard MOQ.

From Artwork to Shipment
After your target shade and wash intensity are confirmed on a lab-dip sample, we cut and sew the blank tees, then run a small test batch through the wash process for your approval. Once the finish is signed off, the full run is washed, any post-wash decoration is applied, and orders ship within 12-16 working days to any of the 35+ countries we export to.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the vintage look achieved through printing or actual washing?
It comes from a genuine enzyme or pigment garment wash after construction, not a printed faded effect.
Will every tee have slightly different fading?
Some natural variation is expected and is part of the authentic wash character, though we control the overall shade range.
Does washing affect the fabric's durability?
Wash timing is calibrated to soften and fade the surface without materially weakening the fabric.
Can graphics be added after the wash?
Yes, DTG and screen printing are applied post-wash so artwork sits cleanly on the faded base.
What is your minimum order quantity?
50 pieces per design, per colourway.
How much longer does washing add to lead time?
Vintage washed tees ship in 12-16 working days after sample approval to allow for the wash and dry cycle.
